About ZURC1

ZURC1 was born in Austin, Texas, out of a family that built and served its community running butcher shops, local restaurants, and everything in between. Founder Cruz Garcia Jr. grew up inside that world: early mornings in the meat market, late nights cleaning buildings after the city went quiet, and long hours helping at his uncle’s many restaurants. That kind of grind doesn’t just build strength...it builds character, precision, and pride.

Fellow Austinite Sean Melant is the steady engine behind ZURC1, pairing creative instincts with disciplined technical execution. He and Cruz met in 2023, the right moment and the right time for both, and that spark became a shared mission. He translates Cruz’s vision into shippable reality mockups, product specs, brand voice, and clean storefront UX that feels effortless to customers. Most of all, he’s invested in Cruz’s dream, showing up with curiosity, rigor, and the kind of follow-through that turns ambition into a living brand.
